Final Project Digital Portfolio

I chose to use my class blog kristinannab.com as my “you.com” project.  It was created in WordPress.  I chose this because it already had many of the things that were being asked for. It already had my biography and a link to where I will be working in the fall.  It also had a link to my very new twitter account.  The projects from this class were already listed there as well.   I expanded the blog to add the items that were missing.  I added a link to my LinkedIn page.  I also added an Instructional Media category that listed the other two classes I have taken so far in this program.  I added the final projects for those two courses to the class link.

This has been a great experience for me.  I never in a million years thought I would ever have a blog.  Now that I have one, I am enjoying adding things to it.  I have had so much fun with it that I am going to create a class blog for the parents of my first graders to refer to next year.  I will post pictures of the students participating in class activities along with information parents will need to stay current on class activities.

Kristin Annab

Welcome to my blog! I am a passionate educator who loves teaching children the joy of learning. While working toward my degree in education, I worked as a preschool teacher, where I learned the importance of patience and caring when teaching children. Once I graduated with a degree in special ed, I then continued my career in education working as a 1st grade teacher for 12 years. Most recently I returned to the early childhood education realm, as director of a preschool and infant center. Now, my journey has led me back to the first grade classroom. In preparation, I am working on receiving my master's degree in education.
